Beschreibung
Cooking with the Shack Restaurant is not only a recipe book, but it’s also a cookbook born from the love of cooking and the memories of the food I had as a child.
This book will take you on a trip through the history of the Temple Bar district of Dublin, Ireland. Now the Cultural quarter of the city. Temple Bar is one of the busiest areas in Dublin City and is listed in every tourist book in the world.
Along our expedition, you will read about the ‘the History of Irish Food’ and the great famine, providing you with an insight into what shaped our traditional fares.
You will discover how in recent years we have twisted and moulded our old traditions; creating and modernising our old ways while keeping our true Irish heritage.
You will also learn of my own voyage into food and how I now proudly own The Shack Restaurant, which since opening, almost 20 years ago, have served over a million guests from around the world.
