There were many points of anguish in my battle with the psychological and spiritual consequences of the handling of Marjorie's and my affairs, not the least of which were the gross unfairness and misconstruing of the affairs, particularly after the true cause of her agonizing headaches was clearly demonstrated. That did away with the allegations of drug addiction by her and her genuine need for pethidine to reduce her suffering and completely justified my support of her need for such treatment. As so often happens hindsight demonstrated with absolute clarity the genuineness of her complaints and the correctness of my support of her. It also completely demolished all aspects of the allegation that she was an addict and did not qualify for treatment with pethidine. Notwithstanding the demonstration, those concerned still had their minds so consumed by their incorrect opinion and unjustified dislike of her, and were so psychologically weak, that they could not correct their error, their incorrect belief about her persisted until her end and their belief that I was guilty of aiding and abetting an addict has remained unfettered. I am of the opinion that their fixed minds are so unmalleable that they are incapable of discerning the truth and of raising a plea for forgiveness. Maybe, by the time that this saga is concluded, because a conciliatory outcome is impossible with people who have such rigidly fixed minds and such an inept attitude to resolution of the matters, a scintilla of understanding may open to them. Even so, their difficulty in comprehension of the matters may still obfuscate the truth. If they do achieve full understanding, their consequent agony from the truth may force them to seek peace of mind from forgiveness of their profound ignorance concerning the bravest woman who ever blessed my life by her presence. That would be an appropriate finish to my finale, my GRAND FINALE!
