God wants a relationship with you. He wants to hear your hopes, your needs, and your intercession for others. He wants you to simply talk with Him in sincerity and authenticity about your feelings and everything in your life.
Eloquent words are not necessary when you pray. God, viewing you as His child with His overflowing love, looks at your heart—your intentions—in prayer. He already knows what you’re thinking, and prayer is an opportunity to be honest and relational with Him. In your own words, simply share with Him what’s going on in your life, how you feel, and what you desire. Ask Him for your desires and for the help you need and do the same on behalf of others.
Deidra hopes you will come to realize, as she did, that Jesus is the answer to every problem—and you can meet Him in prayer . . . anytime, anywhere.
