You never thought you would have the word widow attached to your name, did you? As you said goodbye to your husband, your partner and friend you now have to confront the fact that you must face the questions of, where do I go from here? How do I maneuver through this pain and these ocean waves of emotions? Why can't I get it together? Doesn't anyone understand how lost I feel without the other part of my soul? These are just a few of the questions that we as widows encounter as we come face to face with this journey called Grief. I want to encourage you to know that you still have purpose because your purpose did not leave with your husband. I have placed my heart and experiences with grief upon the pages of this book. I hope that it will help you walk through your time of grief with God in His word as you move towards your new normal. It's filled with relatable stories, lessons learned, shared moments, and self-reflections. Each page will bring you closer to healing as you apply the scriptures, prayers, and activities to your daily life. It will provide you with a framework to help you get through the grieving process towards healing as God gives you "Grace for the Journey".
