He told us that everyone who would follow Him must carry their cross—and He also carried His own cross to Calvary. When we are faced with hard times, we must realize that He also went through pain.
Likewise, if we are faced with death, He also went through it, but the good news is, He rose from the dead, meaning that we will all rise from death if we have faith in Him.
What Jesus died for was not for Himself, but for you and me, which bears remembering in a corrupt world where we are constantly tempted to go astray.
